Christmas Giving

Stepping Stones is a dedicated group of Salt Lake County Drug Court alumni who continue to lead productive, healthy lives, and believe in giving back to the community. Through our efforts to organize safe and sober public activities, we are able to support current clients and their families as they overcome the challenges of new recovery from substance use disorders, and persevere through the Drug Court program.

For many, Drug Court represents the most challenging, rewarding, and life-altering process they will ever complete, as they pave the way to a new life.

Each year, Stepping Stones seeks sponsors/donations for its annual families in recovery holiday event held in December. This celebration promotes connectivity with the recovery community and demonstrates a way of engaging in sober fun as a family. We give a toy to each child who attends and serve dinner to around 350 people. The goal for this event is $5000 each year. Your contribution will help bring joy and Holiday Spirit to local families in recovery.

Drug Court really works, and Stepping Stones is living proof! Part of our program’s success comes from reintroducing participants to the simple pleasures in life, and helping them regain confidence in everyday living. As a non-profit organization, we rely solely on donations from those who recognize and appreciate the services we continue to provide for the community. Please play a part in our efforts. All donations are tax-deductible. Any financial or in-kind support is greatly appreciated. Please contact us with inquires or for further information.

Stepping Stones aspires to offer individual services as they provide attention to the individual. With your help, we can offer: one-on-one, advocacy, connecting with resources, and in-home assistance.

Stepping Stones aspires to offer group therapy as it is one of the most successful elements of long-term recovery. With your help, we can offer: women's groups, men's groups, aftercare groups, parenting groups, life-skills groups, and peer-to-peer services.

Graduates of Drug Court and current participants organize regular social and family events, retreats, and activities which help people in recovery connect and have fun sober.
