You must agree to these terms before registering for Embrace Recovery Run or Ride in Liberty Park:

I agree to have Stepping Stones charge my card for the amount listed on the Registration form. I acknowledge that this amount is non-refundable. I understand that the event will take place no matter what weather conditions occur. I agree that a refund will not be issued if I am unable to attend. I understand that the registration amount is a donation to help fund Stepping Stones supporting individuals seeking a continued path to recovery from substance use disorders. I know that I can contact Stepping Stones with questions related to these charges or the event.

I know that participating is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able to ride, run or walk and agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the run. I assume all risks associated with running in this event including, but not limited to, falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, traffic, and the conditions of the road, all such risks being known and appreciated by me.

Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Stepping Stones, Friends of Drug Court, Liberty Park, the race timing company, all volunteers and all sponsors, their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recording, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.

I understand that tickets are issued subject to the “Stepping Stones” regulations, also known as the Promoter. Purchase of a concert ticket from the Promoter signifies agreement to the following:

1. I am aware that the Management reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion, conduct security searches to ensure the safety of patrons.

2. I agree to produce a valid ticket on entry. Tickets are valid for one admission only. I agree not to deface or tear the ticket prior to entering the event, as this may invalidate the ticket and NO duplicate tickets will be issued for lost or damaged tickets.

3. I agree that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded unless the event is cancelled or re-scheduled. In this event only face value of the ticket will be refunded.

4. I understand that title to this registration remains with the Promoter until payment in full has been received. In the event of any breach of any of these conditions by the holder, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel this ticket and retain any money paid for it.

5. I will not resell tickets without express written permission from the event Promoter.

6. If I experience problems in the venue, I will contact a steward so that the issue can be resolved prior to, or during the event.

7. I am aware that the Promoter reserves the right to amend or make alteration to the published details of the event as necessary, without being obliged to provide a refund or exchange tickets.

8. I agree that neither the Promoter nor the venue management shall be responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought into the venue.

9. I agree to appear in any filming and/or recording of the event for no fee.

10. I understand the risks of repeated and prolonged exposure to amplified sound and that it may cause permanent hearing damage.

11. I understand that no alcohol or food is permitted to be brought into the venue. No glass containers or cans will be allowed on to the site. Empty plastic water bottles will be allowed into the event.

12. I certify that I will bot bring any of following articles into the venue: barbecues, fireworks, knives, smoke canisters, air horns, flares, weapons, dangerous or hazardous items, laser devices, bottles or glass vessels, cans, poles or any article that might be used as a weapon or that may compromise public safety. If I am in possession of such items I will be refused entry into or ejected from the event site.

13. I am ware that I may be ejected from the concert arena if they fail to comply with the reasonable instructions of a steward or other person acting for or on behalf of the Promoter.

14. I acknowledge that the times shown on this ticket are approximate only and may not be accurate. I will not hold the Promoter responsible for any change(s) to the times scheduled.

15. I certify that anyone under the age of 16 will be accompanied by an adult.

16. I understand that the Promoter can accept no responsibility for the non-appearance of any of the artistes. Artistes have been contracted to perform at the event however, if for any reason they are unable to perform and it is beyond the control of the Promoter, ticket refunds will not be given.

17. I am aware that the Promoter reserves the right to make alterations to the published event schedule or program.

18. If the event is rescheduled or materially changed I must claim my refund within 4 weeks of the announcement of the new date. If the event is cancelled, I must claim my refund within 3 months of the date of the event.

19. I am aware that no animals are allowed at this event except guide dogs. I agree to let Stepping Stones know if I intend to bring a guide dog Steppnig Stones can arrange a safe area.

20. For safety reasons and to ensure the comfort of those attending the event, I realized the management reserves the right to reduce the overall footprint of your chosen seating area.

21. I will not use umbrellas in front of the stage during the performance.

I am aware that this is an outdoor concert, please come prepared in the event of inclement weather. The concert will proceed no matter what the weather conditions are.


Stepping Stones aspires to offer individual services as they provide attention to the individual. With your help, we can offer: one-on-one, advocacy, connecting with resources, and in-home assistance.


Stepping Stones aspires to offer group therapy as it is one of the most successful elements of long-term recovery. With your help, we can offer: women's groups, men's groups, aftercare groups, parenting groups, life-skills groups, and peer-to-peer services.


Graduates of Drug Court and current participants organize regular social and family events, retreats, and activities which help people in recovery connect and have fun sober.
