Alumni Association
If not for the Drug Court program, I would not be here today!
Cyndie has been an active alumni member with Salt Lake County Drug Court's Stepping Stones to Recovery for 12 years. She is currently enrolled in classes to finish her bachelor's in Psychology, and is becoming a Certified Peer Support Specialist to better assist people in recovery. Cyndie is presently working for Cannon Disability Law, one of the oldest social security law firms in Utah. She enjoys assisting her peers who are struggling with substance use and/or mental illness find appropriate and timely services in the community. Cyndie graduated from Salt Lake County Drug Court in April of 2005, and remains very passionate about the recovery movement. She does everything possible to help her peers, and those who continue to struggle with maintaining sobriety. Cyndie plans, facilitates, and attends all Friends of Drug Court-related events, and is a valued member of the organization's board of directors.

Stepping Stones aspires to offer individual services as they provide attention to the individual. With your help, we can offer: one-on-one, advocacy, connecting with resources, and in-home assistance.

Stepping Stones aspires to offer group therapy as it is one of the most successful elements of long-term recovery. With your help, we can offer: women's groups, men's groups, aftercare groups, parenting groups, life-skills groups, and peer-to-peer services.

Graduates of Drug Court and current participants organize regular social and family events, retreats, and activities which help people in recovery connect and have fun sober.
